GEDC 2176 - Technical Communications - 2 credits
This course provides the student with practical knowledge and experience in communication processes. Students will analyze their own listening skills and participate in discussions and video representations of nonverbal communication as well. Students will also participate in experiential activities including critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and group dynamics. They will also work on a collaborative project involving analyzing purpose and audience, and they will be required to draft written sets of instructions as a team effort. In addition, they will be required to demonstrate a process and teach the process to another person.

Prerequisites: ENGL0085, or appropriate Writing assessment score.
