ECT 1030 - Linux Operating System - 3 credits
This course introduces the student to the Linux operating system. Topics include basic/intermediate commands, file/directory structure and management, file/directory security, redirection, pipes, variables and aliases. In this class, students will study the necessary core Linux concepts and practical usage in order to work effectively in this operating system environment. This course requires completion of ECT 1001 or concurrently enrolled.
