Notes
  • The ability to understand and appreciate military culture and to gain an understanding of mental health issues affecting Veterans is imperative for individuals working with Servicemembers. Overview of how military culture and resiliency are developed, and mental health issues (PTSD, Moral Injury, TBI, Depression) common to Servicemembers are provided. Students will develop their own self-care plan as they learn why it is important for others, particularly Veterans, to do so.
